Our Company
The Disaster Risk Management Centre (DRMC) is the first consultancy in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to specialize and work solely in all aspects of Disaster Risk Management. We provide our clients with a wide variety of services including national strategies, policies and action plans, interaction of development and disasters,disaster risk reduction, preparedness and response plans, and recovery and relief programs.

We also provide specialized consultancy services to various private sector companies in the fields of occupational health and safety, earthquake-resistant design and fire and blast resistant design. Our clients consist of governments (both executive and legislative powers),international donor organizations, UN agencies, NGOs, INGOs, local government (municipalities and union of municipalities) and single agencies with response-related mandates.
Our Vision
In order to protect lives, livelihoods and the environment, the DRMC is dedicated to providing its Disaster Risk Management and Disaster Risk Reduction services and expertise across the MENA region.
Our Mission
Our mission at the DRMC is to support the development planning process through the incorporation of Disaster Risk Reduction considerations into planning strategies, thereby making the development process more robust against a variety of natural and man-made hazards. As a consequence we hope to successfully reduce poverty and improve the quality of life throughout the MENA region.
Our Goals
DRMC aims to help prevent natural hazards from turning into un-natural disasters through striving to achieve the following goals:
To reduce the loss of lives, damage to the environment, and loss of livelihoods during natural hazards
To protect critical lifelines and critical infrastructure elements whose failure may significantly contribute to losses
To improve preparedness and response efforts during natural hazards and disasters
To promote state-of-the-art occupational health and safety practices in the workplace
